My newest niece!
Mya Grace
February 17, 2011 - 6 lbs. & 4 oz.
(I thought it was fun that she weighed the same as I did when I was born:)
Aubrey loves to hold her baby sister! :)
Kyler & Mya
The other morning they were singing songs to Mya, it's fun to watch them with her, they treat her with such tenderness and care (most of the time:) I have really been enjoying my
time here. Kyler was singing 'Only a boy named David' time after time
after time this morning, there is a Hippo that was given for Mya but
Aubrey has claimed it & named it Hallah! :) I love all their happy
smiles & laughter, I am blessed to be their aunt! :) I wish you all a good week...

Pictures & writings of winter
Greeting & salutations:)
The next time I post on here I will very likely be in Ohio. You see my sister is having a baby & I get to go out & help her. *O happy* I will probably be there for a month which means that I will probably get to know my niece & nephew very well! (of course it doesn't take very many days to learn to know them:)
Another happy thought is that tomorrow Naomi comes home from another week of prison ministry & this time she won't leave so soon again. :)
Meanwhile here are some pictures...
This is a string of geese (as you can see) I think they were confused as to whether they should go north or south.
Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds. Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O LORD, thou preservest man and beast.
How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.
For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light. Psalms 36:5,6,7,9

My sister Rhoda & her cat which is named Simon
Color anyone?
I like this picture, Marge & Rhoda are very much alike, happy-go-lucky, spontaneous etc.
(there is a picture I liked almost better but a certain person thought she looked very terrible so I didn't post it:)
Marge gave me these because she knew I liked them. Thanks Marge, it's been great having you for a sister!:)
I hope you all are having a wonderful winter, I know I am! God has been teaching me lots of things & some of the things aren't necessarily fun or easy but they are necessary! So for now I'll just write some of my favorite verses from Psalms;

Mighty to save!
Recently I have been thinking about this song a lot. It makes me think of Hanna, the little 10 year old girl who has been raised in a Muslim family, she has been saved & when she asked her parents what religion she is and why they don't go to church her Dad felt guilty & started taking her to a mosque & reading her the Koran. As she listened to him talk about Allah she told him that he is not God. When her family went to Pakistan to visit relatives; they went to a Muslim mosque and when she got to the door they asked her if she was Muslim, she said "No, I am a Christian so I will wait outside." Her family over there is not happy with her but recently her mom has also been saved. It makes me think of all the people that are searching for something more in life, at times our human nature would want to turn them away & let someone else mess with them but then we remember what Jesus would do & we remember that we ourselves were there once too & it changes our view towards them as lost people desperately looking for/needing help, if we can't actually talk to them, we can ALWAYS pray for them!
Everyone needs compassion,
Love that's never failing;
Let mercy fall on me.
Everyone needs forgiveness,
The kindness of a Savior;
The Hope of nations.
Savior, He can move the mountains,
My God is Mighty to save,
He is Mighty to save.
Forever, Author of salvation,
He rose and conquered the grave,
Jesus conquered the grave.
So take me as You find me,
All my fears and failures,
Fill my life again.
I give my life to follow
Everything I believe in,
Now I surrender.
Yes, I surrender
Savior, He can move the mountains,
My God is Mighty to save,
He is Mighty to save.
Forever, Author of salvation,
He rose and conquered the grave,
Jesus conquered the grave.

Shine your light and let the whole world see,
We're singing for the glory of the risen King...Jesus

I have to admit that so often I tend to limit the power of God to really change peoples lives. It's so easy to say that we believe that He can but to actually believe it with our heart is something different. I pray that I would have a greater desire to see people come to know God & have their lives radically altered & changed because of Him!
